The Positive Voices is a monthly newspaper initiated by Bob Goodrich in January, 2010. The Positive Voices is dedicated to promoting the values of social justice, increasing voter turnout , encouraging more tax funding for public education and providing awareness of ever growing disparity of wealthy families income to the income of middle class families. The Positive Voices sees the most effective way to make progress for the values it champions by clarifying the essential services the peoples’ corporations are providing: that is the indispensible public programs our governments (at all levels) is now doing.
The Positive Voices mission is to encourage all minorities (especially women) to contribute to American public life, to call attention to the positive role organized labor has in our civic society, to serve as a forum for non-profits dedicated to serving the most vulnerable; and to bring our readers intelligent and challenging features, articles and commentary from diverse points of view on subjects ranging from philosophy and science to politics and religion.
The Positive Voices is part of WPRR Public Reality Radio and also a partner of Grand Valley Labor News.
